A great ‘About Us’ page on your website for florists is a vital tool to create trust for your customers and also help boost your website’s SEO (Search Engine Optimisation – what helps to improve where your website is listed on search engines such as Google and Bing) which in turn will help bring more visitors to your florist website and therefore (hopefully!) generate more orders.

There's lots of things you can talk about on your ‘About Us’ page so we've created a list of our 10 About Us Page Elements Every Florist Website Needs (whether you have an eflora florist website or not):

Illustrated storefront icon with a teal awning and info symbol on the door, labeled 1 on a pale background.

Add your shop address, opening hours and and contact information so that customers can find you and contact you with ease. Make sure that any details listed here match what is on your Google Business Profile too.

Stylized map with three purple location pins and the number 2 in the top left, on a soft pastel background.

Add your delivery locations to help your florist website rank for local search terms on Google and other search engines e.g. 'Flower Delivery Lincoln'. If you're not sure where to begin when it comes to SEO, be sure to check out our Beginner’s guide to SEO.

Include the types of delivery services that you offer - Same Day, National, International, Timed Slots, Click and Collect etc. include details of how much you charge for each service. Don't forget that with an eflora florist website, you can set bespoke delivery prices for each of your locations so you can charge a little more or a little less depending on how far a certain location is from your shop - just another fabulous website features on our eflora websites for florists.

Three people stand beside a small storefront icon with a teal awning; a 4 appears in the top left.

Feature lots of imagery including pictures of your team and the outside of your shop for a personal touch. Don't forget to optimise each image for search by adding alt text and using descriptive image file names.

Illustrated number 5 beside a wine bottle and gift box, with a cluster of pastel balloons and ribbons on a light background.

What other gifts do you sell? Add a list of products that you stock on top of your floral offering including items such as plants, gifts and hampers. Create internal linking to other pages on your florist website e.g. if you're talking about your local chocolate collection, then link to the category page for the range - it's another great way to boost traffic! If you're a part of a garden centre, mention that too.

Bride and groom stand under a heart beside a tiered cake with candles; a 6 appears in the top-left.

What occasions do you cater for? Create a list and don't forget to mention corporate work, events, weddings and funerals as well as all-year-round occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. As per tip 5, make sure you create links to the pages you're talking about.

If you're part of the Interflora network, let your customers know that you can

deliver internationally using the click to call service on your website. It's a great way for you to earn a bit of commission from those looking to send a long distance gift.

Number 8 in top left; centered mauve circle with layered star icons, including a white star and two outlined stars on white background.

How long have you been in the floral industry? Be sure to add any founder stories and experience, the number of years you've been in business and local community involvement. Tell your customers to create added trust, plus they love to read about it!

Pink trophy with a white star and teal ribbons on a light background, with the number 9 in the top left.

Shout about what makes your shop unique! Award winning? Part of a Garden Centre? Specialisms? Make some noise about it. Feature a few customer testimonials too to back up what you're saying with real customer feedback.

If you're part of a relay network (lnterflora, eFlorist etc.) let your

customers know and tell them how long you've been a part it. This could be handy tool to use where you can earn a sending commission if they're looking to send flowers to somewhere outside of your delivery area. With an eflora website for florists, you can earn a huge 22.5% sending commission on orders that are outside of your delivery locations!
